The Penguin Club is available to children of 3 - 10 years in our Cork and Blanchardstown Ice Rinks. Our smallest size skate is a 27 and we also have a skate that fits over the shoe and can be adjusted to small sizes. Our experienced and enthusiastic ice team makes skating easy, while safety and fun is top priority. The sessions takes place in the smaller kiddies rink which encourages the young skater to gain confidence with an accompanying adult and our ice marshals.
The kids will have the chance to practice on the ice using our famous penguin stabilizers until they are steady, and meet out resident mascot who will be available for photos during the session. This is an ideal taster to ice skating for toddlers and primary school children with no levels or assessments, just a good introduction to the basics of the sport.
Families can relax afterwards with a hot chocolate or soft drink in the rink side cafe.
These sessions run during term time on Wednesdays only (on the 3:10, 4:20 and 5:30pm skating sessions) and cost the price of a regular Off Peak Ticket at this time. For safety, we recommend that one adult accompany each child under 5 years old.
Optional Extra: Come along to 4 Penguin club sessions and your child receives a Certificate and Cork on Ice Penguin Hat and Scarf set! Make sure to ask for the Penguin Club Loyalty Card on your first visit to avail of this. For every Penguin Club visit, make sure you present your loyalty card and get it stamped by our ticket desk staff.
